Brown Dog Brand began with our much-loved kelpie, Tazzi — the original “brown dog” — whose love of food and enrichment sparked our passion for creating natural, purpose-driven treats. Today, that legacy continues with Ivy, our black and tan kelpie and Chief Snack Inspector.

Formerly known as Brown Dog Bakery and established in 2020, our name has evolved — but our values, recipes, and commitment to quality remain exactly the same.

We continue to make our treats in small batches using quality ingredients, with no added preservatives.

Meet Tazzi & Ivy

Brown Dog Brand began with Tazzi — the OG of BDB.

Trained by Tazzi herself, Ivy now proudly holds the role of Chief Snack Inspector, continuing the legacy one enrichment-focused treat at a time.
